Banana Adventure Tours - Costa Rica

DEPOSITS

A non refundable 20% deposit of the total value of the tour per person is required to confirm space in any tour. Reservations made within 30 days of departure date require full payment at time of booking.  

FINAL PAYMENT

Final payment for tours is due 30 days prior to trip date (60 days if during December period). If this final installment is not received when due, Banana Adventure Tours reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled.  

A NOTE ABOUT PRICES

Prices are accurate and available at the time of publication. Prices do not include airfare unless otherwise stated. Banana Adventure Tours reserves the right to alter prices to reflect changes in local airfares (domestic flights), land services or sales tax increases.

CANCELLATION POLICY

When we receive written notice that you must cancel your tour, the following cancellation fees per person apply.

• 30+ days prior to departure 20% of total value of tour.
• 29 days or less, 100% of trip cost.

RESPONSIBILITY

Payment of the deposit represents an acceptance by the purchaser of the following terms and conditions:
Banana Adventure Tours assumes no responsibility for injury, loss, damage to person or property, or for additional expenses due to acts of God, sickness, weather, strike, detention, riot, war, quarantine, thefts, civil disturbances, or government regulations or restrictions. We are not responsible for any accidents, delays, inconveniences, expense or mishap of any kind whatsoever resulting entirely or in part, from the negligence of others or from causes beyond our control. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes and/or substitutions in the itinerary where deemed necessary. For those trips and tours where Banana Adventure Tours is not the source or supplier, we act solely as agents and as such assume no responsibility should any supplier fail to provide the service contracted. Baggage is at owners risk entirely. No refund can be made for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips or tours unless arrangements are made at time of booking.

We always offer to all our clients an International Travel Insurance, and advice them to buy the insurance to assure that their vacations will be enjoyed safely. If the costumer decides not to buy it, the responsibilitiy of any accident, transportation, or any kind of injury, relies all on the client.

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

Banana Adventure Tours acts solely as agents for the purchase of domestic airline tickets and the passage contract in use shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the passenger. Banana Adventure Tours is not responsible for cancellations or delays of domestic flights nor for any lost services as a result of same. Domestic flights are regularly scheduled. In the case of non-operation of a domestic flight for any reason, the client will be responsible for any additional expenses or will pay the difference for a charter plane.

CONDUCT

The right is reserved to decline to accept or to retain any person as a tour member for any reason which affects the operation of the tour or the rights and welfare and enjoyment of the other tour members, and a refund of the recoverable land tour services is the limit of Banana Adventure Tours tours liability.
